Many people are engaged in performing a work activity completely different from the one they were preparing for when studying at college or at a higher education institution. At the same time, the society loses personnel trained to perform highly skilled labor.
That is, a person can be a professional in the scientific field, but is forced to do other work. This is also due to the lack of financing or insufficient financing of really important areas of the economy.
Fourty five percent of specialists from more than 50 countries who passed their certification exams recently reported being unable to find a job right away, with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists and orthopedic surgeons the likeliest to be unemployed, according to the results of an international survey.
In the case of doctors, this situation creates a high shortage of personnel in the medical field. This, in turn, creates long queues and many patients cannot even get consultations, let alone medical care. All this is one of the reasons for the crisis of health systems.
